Mr Pitt's one made no sense because Elaine did not try to kill him. The wheelchair one also like it was a mistake Kramer did not knowingly give her a faulty wheelchair. Sidra's one made no sense because Elaine tripped and fell by accident Jerry did not sent her to do that. Like the contest one, Babu Bhatt's one made no sense because as we all know Jerry did not put a gun to his head and force him to change his restaurant, it was not Jerry's fault the mail got mixed up. They try to make it seem like the 4 of them are the worst people in the world, but most of the testimonies made no sense. They spoke about the contest? How in the world is that of any concern or relevance to the jury? They are not on trial for what they choose to do in their personal lives. Throw a sweet wrapper on the sidewalk BOOM! You're fucking worse than Hitler and you should be ashamed of everything you are.Īgain I know it's a comedy but that has to be the worst finale I've ever seen in my life. Like they make such a big deal out of everything. Like I really liked this show for the most part, it was really funny and all but this just pushes the boundaries between comedy and stupidity for me. Far worse than even HIMYM's ending because it was so stupid. " The Smelly Car" (with Larry David) – A friend of Peter Mehlman's told a story about a smelly car whose odor could not be defeated.I know this show is supposed to be a full-blown comedy and taken very lightheartedly but that was just abysmal. " The Nose Job" – Based on a father of Mehlman's friend, who owned a store, and spoke his mind to his customers. " The Apartment" – Mehlman pitched an idea where Elaine wants to leave the city, but Larry David, Larry Charles and Jerry Seinfeld suggested Elaine move closer to Jerry rather than further away. Įpisodes of Seinfeld written/co-written by Peter Mehlman: The word shrinkage "enters our vocabulary", as do "the sponge" (" The Sponge") and "yada yada" (" The Yada Yada"). George feeling left out on a visit to The Hamptons because everyone else got to see his date topless (" The Hamptons") Jerry and girlfriend Courteney Cox pretending to be married to get a drycleaner's discount, only to end up bickering like old marrieds (" The Wife") George's thinking he has turned Susan to lesbianism (" The Smelly Car") The question whether Teri Hatcher has a breast implant and George's double-dipping his chip at a snack table (both in " The Implant") But Seinfeld may have suffered the death blow when writer and coexecutive producer Peter Mehlman, who helped steer the show after David left, departed for Steven Spielberg's DreamWorks at the end of last season." She pointed to important elements that Mehlman created for the series, such as:Įlaine shoving Jerry and others while exclaiming "Get out!!" for the first time Just checked out the wiki, (I hope this copies right)Ī writer for The Morning Call said, "Everyone talks about the damage done when Jerry's cocreator and former executive producer Larry David left the series in 1996. My favorite writer is Peter Mehlman, he had a lot to do with the specificity of Seinfeld. My favourite Seasons are 4 and 7, but I enjoy Season 8 and 9, I notice the differences but it's not much of a bother. Sure Season 8-9 is a little unrealistic but it's no more unrealistic than George pulling a golf ball out of a whale, Kramer being accused of being a serial killer, a Junior Mint saving a mans life in surgery, or Elaine possibly having rabies. Also Jerry knew that the show would be ending soon, if Seinfeld lasted for 14 seasons, these would be considered a bit of a problem, but if you know that Season 8/9 will be the last Season (Jerry said he was done after Season 8, but he wanted the fans to have one more season) then these episodes aren't that much of a problem.Īnd to be fair Season 8-9 also had stories that were based on upon writers personal lives, for example one of the writers had an adult friend who was in the same karate class with children, Festivus was a family holiday by one of the writers father (but I think that one now is common knowledge).
